Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from Dar es Salaam and a scenic drive to Mikumi National Park. After lunch, enjoy your first game drive across its open savannahs, spotting elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, and the famous Mkata Floodplain wildlife.

Spend the day exploring Mikumi’s diverse habitats. Your guide will look for big cats, large herds of elephants, hippos, and an incredible variety of birdlife. The Mkata Plains offer some of the best wildlife viewing in Southern Tanzania.
